The history of TreeSqueaks dates back to 1990 when Grover and Louise Everts had a wood craft business. Louise named the business TreeSqueaks because of how the trees squeak when they rub together in the wind. It seemed fitting since they loved working with wood.
Over the years, the business evolved and Louise started making homemade cards for people. She would include a photograph in the card as a little surprise to those who purchased.
The photographs were so well liked that we decided to display them in creative ways in the form of pictures, mugs, t-shirts, and so much more!
We kept the name TreeSqueaks in honor of the history and hard work that Grover and Louise Everts put into providing customers special gifts that they could proudly display in their homes (or give away as gifts).
We hope that you are also able to find that special gift for your home or friend.
